Montauk natural cleft

Near to the European institutions in Brussels (BE) is a remarkable building consisting of 8500 m² of offices. These offices were recently furnished with BELTRALINEA strips in the slate, Montauk supplied through the agency of Urbis Development.

The philosophy of the building contractor, Urbis Development, is to develop real estate projects with an innovative architecture that keeps in complete harmony with the surrounding city. That's why ASSAR ARCHITECTS (Brussels, BE) choose to clad the interior with the natural stone MONTAUK.

This grey-green Brazilian slate looks very natural and due to its natural cleft surface is perfectly suited for intensive commercial use. By opting for the BELTRALINEA strips the architect was able to give free rein to his creativity in every way. This resulted in the application of the strips for both walls and floors utilised along with the full sized tiles for flooring which are available calibrated to the same thickness as the strips.

The installation was carried out by Opus Marble (Brussels, BE) and BELTRAMI guaranteed a right-on-time delivery.
