Beltraline: The bearable lightness of natural stone

At BATIBOUW 2001 in Brussels, BELTRAMI launched its newest line of thin natural stone tiles. Because of the increasing importance of renovation in the building world, we found it opportune to offer as wide a range as possible of natural stone in BELTRALINE. There was clearly a lack of thin, calibrated marbles and limestones in large sizes (from 40/40 to 60/60). Following the introduction of our own brand-new calibrating installation (see Newsletter n°5) it was decided to offer more than fifty types of natural stone in the BELTRALINE range. For example, it is easy to receive from now on, Belgian Blue Limestone tiles in a 40/40 format and 1.2 cm thick, in a variety of finishes: light-blue honed, dark-blue honed, bush-hammered, flamed. Even the special 'Enostyl' finish will be offered in 40/40/1.5 calibrated format. Perfect placement with adhesive mortar is now therefore possible for a whole range of products. Also the French and Portuguese limestones will be included in the BELTRALINE: tiles of 60/60/1.5 cm in Mirabelle or Moleanos are part of the standard range. Following the introduction at BATIBOUW, an intensive information campaign is being undertaken to acquaint the consumer with the possibilities offered by BELTRALINE: ? fast and perfect placement with adhesive mortar ? precise grouting due to straight-cut edges ? speedy delivery of standard formats and materials ? easy tile handling in difficult to reach building areas ? placement easy on existing floors or bases
