New: Limestone from Croatia |
|||
Beltrami is introducing DALMATIA, a hard limestone from Croatia. The colour of this stone is plain beige with pastel grey clouding; in short - something special ! The tradition of Dalmatian limestone goes back to Roman times, when, in the 4th century A.D., the emperor Diocletian had his impressive palace in Split built of the local limestone. A more recent prestigious reference is the White House, in Washington. DALMATIA is available as random lengths 30 x 1.5 cm, tiles of 40 x 40 x 1.5 cm, skirting of 7 x 1.5 cm and 40 x 7 x 1.5 cm and slabs honed to 2 and 3 cm. Ask for more information and/or a sample via the response page.
