The very best for 2002 ... wherever you are ...

And the winner is ...

It has reached its climax, the winners of the first great Beltrami contest are known. And in this case, because pictures speak louder than words, we shall let the photos speak for themselves on these pages. But first, a word of thanks to all the participants who are not among the prizewinners: in the next few days we shall be sending you a consolation prize. The many beautifully executed concepts will also be used in our new product literature. Our thanks of course also go to ourtechnical jury, which included architect Egied Vandezande, interior designer Silvana Callens, Joffrey Quartier from the trade magazine BOUW EN RENOVATIE ( Building and Renovation) and Nele Sergyssels of BELTRAMI who, after consultation, selected the following winners: The top prize: 1 week on the Turkish Riviera for 2 people in the Renaissance Resort of Beldibi, is awarded to architect Hans VERSTUYFT from Gravenwezel, for a realisation in BASALTINA in the BACOB offices at Turnhout. The second prize: a weekend trip for 2 people to Lisbon, goes to interior designer Rita HUYS from BURO INTERIOR from Roeselare for a project in ORIENTAL BASALT at Rumbeke in the BANK DELEN. Architect Gunnar Goedefroo, from the architectural office of GOEDEFROO and GOEDEFROO from Wielsbeke, won the third prize (a gastronomic weekend in the Ardennes) with the new Mercedes showroom of garage Ghistelinck at Waregem, where PEPPERINO DARK and flamed TWILIGHT were used. Interior designer Isabelle TAELMAN may spoil herself for a day in the Thalgo-centrum at Limelette for her concept in flamed PEPPERINO DARK, in a private house at Brasschaat. The fifth prize, a case of 6 bottles of Château La Parde, goes to tile dealer ROBERT VANWALLEGHEM from Zonnebeke for his photo of a private house at Passendale, where PIERRE DE BOURGOGNE type ?Vieux Manoir? in large-sized Roman paving was used.
