With BELTRAMI's wide range to choose from, the task was quite difficult but thanks to professional advice JET AIRWAYS decided to opt for the BELTRALINEA range. This range includes calibrated natural stone strips in different formats, finishes and colors. For the 500sqm of wall cladding in the lounge, JET AIRWAYS opted for ARDESIA NERA strips in a natural cleft finish. The walls in the bathrooms, an area of 200 sqm, were clad with Beltralinea strips in ORIENTAL BASALT honed. The colour nuances and differing textures between the two natural stones created a lively, spacious effect and managed to integrate the two areas very successfully. BELTRAMI went to great lengths to produce and deliver the materials on time. At the architects request, the strips were fixed vertically instead of the normal horizontal way. By doing this, the lounge was given a new dimension and a unique look. For the architect it was a way of stamping his mark on the scheme. This project proves natural stone's ever-increasing popularity as a material to use in many applications. More and more new possibilities are being offered by us and being discovered by architects and designers all over Europe and the UK! Natural stone is a superb multi-functional material and will keep on surprising! Links: http://www.jetairways.be http://www.intercarro.be |
